26th Condensed Matter Physics Ankara Meeting was held. The meeting held at Gazi Concert Hall was attended by the Director of our University Photonics Application and Research Center, It started with the opening speech of Süleyman Özçelik. Prof. said that this event has been organized for 27 years. Prof. Dr. Süleyman Özçelik stated that 50 papers will be presented within the scope of the event. Prof. Özçelik stated that the interest shown in the event is an indication of the importance physicists attach to science. Prof. Özçelik explained that they established the Photonics Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of our University and that they provide education at the undergraduate level. Prof. also stated that there are master's and doctoral programs in the Department of Photonics Science and Engineering. Prof. Özçelik also gave information about the Photonics Application and Research Center.

The first session of the event, which was held in a total of 8 sessions, was chaired by Prof. Dr. Süleyman Özçelik did it. In this session, Assoc. Dr. Yashar Azizian “Suitable Light Generation for Microscopy, Quantum Optical Communication and Optical Manipulation”, Prof. Dr. Cem Sevik made a presentation on "Phonon-Mediated Superconductivity Properties of Two-Dimensional MXene and MBene Crystals".

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çakmak, Assoc. Dr. Eyüp Duman “Experimental Observation of the Transition from Type I to Type II Demagnetization Dynamics with Laser Flux in FE60Al40 Thin Film”, Dr. Lecturer Member İlker Demiroğlu presented papers titled "Determination of the Thermal Expansion Coefficient of Graphene with Machine Learning Based Gaussian Approach Potentials".

The third session of the meeting was held by Prof. Dr. While Oğuz Gülseren directed it, Dr. Member Aşkın Kocabaş made a presentation on "Active Substance Properties of Social Behaviors".

In the session where Assoc. Dr. Eyüp Duman was the session chair, Prof. Dr. R. Tuğrul Senger presented the paper titled “Highly Mobile Excitons in Hybrid Halogen Perovskites” and Kutay Akın presented the paper titled “Skyrmionic Nano-Device Production and Characterization”.

The fifth session of the event was attended by Prof. Dr. The session was chaired by Mehmet Parlak. Prof. Dr. Sema Öztürk Yıldırım made presentations on "Use of Thin Film Technologies in Solar Cell Production" and İlkin Göksal on "Interaction of Antiferromagnetic Array with Pure Spin Current".

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Bekir Sıtkı Kandemir, Dr. Lecturer Member Telem Şimşek presented the paper titled "Spin-orbit Torque MRAM" and Ahmet Koral Aykın presented the paper titled "Static and Dynamic Properties of the Antivortex Structure in Nano-Patterned Asteroid Geometry".

The seventh session of the event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ceyhun Bulutay, Dr. Lecturer Member Kevser Şahin Tıraş made a presentation titled "Investigation of the Morphology of Perovskite Films Produced Using Different Techniques and the Efficiency of Solar Cells" and Murat Mut made a presentation titled "Investigation of the Structural Properties of ZnO Thin Films Produced on Corning Gorilla Substrate by Atomic Layer Deposition Method after Annealing".

Prof. Dr. Saime Şebnem Aydın chaired the last session of the event. The event ended after Mikail Bahçeci presented the paper titled "Research on Neutrino Based Quantum Magnetometers" and Hikmet Evlioğlu presented the paper titled "Investigation of High Efficiency Solar Energy Technologies".
